Objects

We provide conservation for a wide range of objects, from archaeological material and ceramics to sculpture, decorative arts and contemporary works.

Each project begins with careful investigation to understand how an object was made, how it has changed over time, and what its condition can tell us. From there, we develop treatments that respect its material history.

Our paper conservation practice encompasses historic and contemporary works on paper, including prints, drawings, paintings on paper in watercolour, acrylic or oil, three-dimensional paper objects, and historic photographic materials on paper.

Services include interventive treatment, preventive care, and collection care, with approaches tailored to each work's materials, condition, and needs.

Balancing material science with aesthetic integrity, our studio preserves and stabilises traditional, modern, and contemporary paintings on different supports.

We treat diverse paint media, from oil medium to modern alkyds and acrylics. Every treatment is bespoke, safeguarding the artist’s original intent and revesibility.
