Meet the team

We are a team of conservators specialising in caring for and preserving paintings, works on paper, and objects. Bringing together a range of individual skills and specialist knowledge, we offer a considered, collaborative approach to conserving artworks and collections.

Our practice is built on a shared commitment to professional excellence, ethical treatment, and preserving each work’s historical and artistic significance.

Mira

Mira is a paper conservator based in London, working across both historic and contemporary works on paper. Her practice encompasses a broad range of paper based objects, including prints, drawings and three-dimensional paper objects. She has experience with modern and contemporary art, as well as a working knowledge of the preventive care of historic photographic materials.

She studied Paper Conservation at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London, and has over 15 years of professional experience working with museums, commercial galleries, auction houses and private collectors. Her career has included roles at Tate, the Smithsonian Institution, the Natural History Museum and the Royal Academy of Arts, as well as work for Somerset House’s exhibition programme. She has also worked on projects for major London auction houses and private collections in the UK and the Middle East. Her work includes preventive conservation and collection care, condition reporting and interventive treatment.

Paper Conservator

Mira’s special interests and expertise include time-based media collections, broadening her experience of contemporary artworks beyond paper based objects. While her principal expertise remains paper conservation, she is continuing to develop her interest, knowledge and practical skills in the treatment of historic Japanese folding screens (byōbu), an area she is keen to pursue through research and hands on studio work.

Federica

Federica is a painting conservator with eight years of professional experience in private practice and public institutions across Europe. She has worked on historic masterpieces, contemporary collections, and complex modern artworks for museums, international galleries, and private collectors.

Trained in Italy and holding an MA in the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, Federica’s practice is rooted in a rigorous, material-led methodology. Her approach balances deep technical inquiry with an understanding of how artworks evolve over time, evaluating not just an artwork’s current condition, but its physical construction, historical context, and the long-term behaviour of its constituent materials.

Paintings Conservator

Her expertise spans traditional easel paintings on canvas and wooden panel, historic polychrome artefacts, modern and contemporary media, with specialised experience in the treatment of synthetic binders, acrylics, alkyds, and mixed-media constructions.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with conservation studios and cultural institutions, including the National Gallery of Ireland and the Hugh Lane Gallery.

Charlotte

Charlotte is a conservator with 20 years’ experience across archaeology and conservation. She has worked on objects, artworks, collections and historic interiors in the UK and internationally, on projects for museums, galleries, private collectors, the auction market and heritage organisations.

Charlotte began her career in archaeology and artefact illustration in 2006, moving into conservation in 2012. That background still shapes how she works: she is interested not only in an object’s condition, but in how it was made, how it has changed over time, and what its materials can reveal about its history.

Her expertise spans archaeological material, ceramics, sculpture, decorative arts, gilding, painted surfaces, murals, frames and contemporary art, with particular experience in the conservation of wax.

Objects Conservator

Her work includes technical, environmental and non-destructive investigation, condition assessment, collections surveys, complex treatments and project management, as well as reports, project proposals, specifications and treatment methodologies.

Her international work has taken her to Egypt, Bulgaria, Bahrain, Ghana, South Africa, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Conservation from City & Guilds of London Art School and a BA in Archaeology from the University of Manchester.

Working with private collectors, galleries and institutions, we provide thoughtful, high-quality conservation services designed to safeguard collections for the future.

Whether you are seeking advice on a single artwork or the ongoing care of a collection, we offer a personal, professional service from initial consultation through to treatment and aftercare.
